We believe that nature cures when a cure is possible and there is no better time to reap her offerings than in summer time.
We have been taught to fear the sun and many of the healing modalities that summer has to offer, but when you mindfully indulge in her offerings, you begin to heal.
You are really no different than a plant, with maybe more complicated emotions.
So stay hydrated and get some sun right?
Here Are Some Of Our Favorite Summer Skincare Secrets From Mother Nature Herself:
1. Get some sun. Bathe in the sun daily and without toxic sunscreens for a minimum of 5-20 minutes per day. Gradually increase your time, but do not allow yourself to burn.
Wearing sunscreen greatly reduces Vitamin D production, which is vital for optimal health. When the body has enough vitamin D, it will start producing melanin, giving your skin a subtle tan and providing natural protection.
The nightmare that most toxic sunscreens being linked to cancer has been scientifically proven. Despite more people than ever using sunscreens, cancer rates are higher than ever.
2. Next time you are at the beach, give yourself a little sand body scrub.
Sand has the trace element, silica in it which is great for your hair, skin and nails. The exfoliation will aid in the removal of dead skin cells and encourage cellular turnover.
Giving your skin a natural glow that only Mother Nature can provide.
3. Jump in the ocean or the lake and especially if it's cold!
Boost your metabolism, release endorphins that encourage happiness and help break down inflammation that causes premature aging.
Don't hesitate, it is best if you just go all in! At least up to your neck as soon as possible. That way the cold is evenly distributed and you can better tolerate it.
Take long, deep breaths and bathe in her glory! Try to stay for at least one minute.

Eating a variety of vegetables and fruits gives your body the adequate support it needs during the hot summer days.
Here are two less common remedies that you can look into.
