Jesse Q+A - October Edition

Thank you to everyone who sent in their questions on Instagram — I love hearing from all of you and I wish I could answer every question. Answering five of the most asked below :)

FYI I will be doing this at the end of every month so make sure you’re following my personal account on Instagram @jessegolden and subscribe to my email list HERE so you don't miss your question potentially being answered!

Q1: Do you only use the golden secrets lash serum on your lashes? THEY'RE SO DREAMY!

Of course! It's the best formulated clean lash serum, period. It has three of the most promising peptides for lash growth. It's Think Dirty Verified and Awarded for best lash serum. Plus, we just enhanced the formula to make it more gentle for sensitive eyes. Same results, no stinging. We've replaced one ingredient, Magnolia Bark Extract with the gentler, Credo-clean preservative Microcare SB—a blend of Potassium Sorbate, Water, and Sodium Benzoate—designed specifically to minimize discomfort for sensitive eyes.

Q2: Do you use a water filter for your shower?

Back home in California, one of the first things I did was put in a whole water filter system by Kinetiko. I have an entire water filter section on my personal website (jessegolden.com) where I share two shower filters. Whole house systems are ideal but yes, I recommend a water filter for your shower when that's not possible.

Q3: How do you get through your toughest times?

I'm a big believer in using my toughest times as opportunities to practice everything I've learned. Opportunities to bring more light in and evolve & grow. These are the moments that create our character. I try to keep my positive perspective, especially when it's the hardest thing to do. Trust that everything is always happening just as it should and rough times always pass.

This is one of the main reasons why I created my Guidance Cards. They offer a fresh positive perspective, especially when you're going through something and need a nudge to get out of a negative mindset. You can learn more about them below. They are truly my greatest offering and something I'm most proud of.

Q4: Tips on avoiding back labor pain for a natural birth?

I think changing your perspective on it. Natural birth is all about embracing the sensations and allowing them to do their job... move the baby down and out. When you want to avoid something it creates a block, therefore more pain. Of course having your partner, doula or midwife hold pressure in those areas is very helpful, cat/cow, a warm shower - all these things help but the thing that helps the most is allowing the pain to pass instead of trying to avoid it.

I took this online hypnobirthing class by Katharine Graves that I can't recommend enough. She empowers you on your choices and helps you shift your perspective for an optimal birth outcome.
